it was meant to be a simple operation, lol. i have tried right clicking and left clicking all to no avail.

Chosen solution

The import function is not on the main menu. In Firefox you should go to bookmarks -> show all bookmarks, or press ctrl+shift+b. In the bookmark library's toolbar there is an import button that will let you import from other browsers.

Hi, I also met the same problem. However, when I click the "Import and Backup" button under the library toolbar, I found that the "Import Data from Another Browsers" shown in grey color so that I can't do anything, how can I solve it?

Question owner

Hiya David 89. When i clicked on the import from another browser it wasn't greyed out so it did the change over OK. May i suggest u try to import form another browser by doing a single import and see it that works first,if u r successful then try the mass import again. Regards Antonio.

Since the thread owner has marked the issue as "solved" I'm locking this thread.

If "Import Data from Another Browser" is greyed out, this can happen if you are in Private Browsing - Browse the web without saving information about the sites you visit mode. Turn off that feature and try again.
