I recently noticed a change that when I tap the address bar and start typing it appends my text to the end of the existing URL rather than wiping the URL out and replacing it with my text. This is super annoying— I’m never going to want to manually adjust the text of the URL. Any idea if this is an intentional change? Or how I can get the old behavior back?

I have trying to use Find In Page whilst browsing with Firefox in iOS.

I have updated to the latest 15.5 iOS software on my iPhone.

I thought it may have been because I had not updated the software in a while.

The problem it still happening after the both updates of iOS and Firefox.

I try to click the next arrow down on the website page to see each instance of the word on the page I am searching for but nothing happens because it stays on the top of the page view where I started.

I have noticed two issues since the latest update. Issue 1: when I delete my browsing history, I normally select everything, yet it no longer deletes everything. What is causing this? Issue 2: whenever I close the browser to do something else, I.e. turn off my vpn, when I reopen the browser, a new tab automatically opens. Why? I’ve checked all the available settings and there is nothing to change that prevents either of these issues from occurring.

I installed the latest version of Firefox (100.1) on my iPhone 8 (15.5). I have a Firefox account that I'm successfully logged into on my laptop. However the iPhone app refuses to remain logged in. I have restarted the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the Firefox app on my phone, and nothing works. When I go into the app > menu > sync now OR app > menu > settings > account login I go through the QR sync process. Once that completes, I open the list of connected devices on my laptop and my phone is not listed. When I open the app menu on my phone, I am not logged in. I still see the "sync now" and no account logged in in the settings menu. When I try to sync from my phone using my email address, the login screen does not recognize my email address as valid (it says "load failed"). It's the same email address I'm using to log into my laptop and this support site. I was able to sync across devices just fine until today. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Firefox seems to be the only browser that is preventing me from logging into my websites. I repeatedly get a "too many attempts" error and then captcha kicks in. When I finally get through the captchas, which I understand from Shopify is normal, I get a blank screen that is trying to load my account. I've spent HOURS on chat with Shopify to see if my site had been hacked. It might have been but there is no suspicious activity and the behavior of the login is weird to them. Could Firefox have the issue....how do I even begin to explore this? I am not well versed on the terminology or even how to go about this. I have since installed Norton on my devices and still use Firefox VPN....at least I think I am, assuming I did it all right. HELP....REALLY NEED GUIDANCE HERE.
