Hello,

I had just managed to get the australis toolbar to work (this one https://github.com/wilfredwee/photon-australis/blob/master/userChrome-dark.css). The problem is, along came the 113.0.1 update and now the tabs are no longer drawn properly because the toolbar requires "compact" mode and the new update mes compact mode less "compact". In other words, after the new update the toolbar looks higher.

Question: is there any way to turn off whatever is making the toolbar higher so that australis works again? Thank you!

This has happened twice. All my passwords were removed from the Fire Fox PW Manager. The first time, Google ended up with apparently this PW list created w/FF. I never knowingly gave permission for this. Second time my Primary PW will no longer work and I had entered the PW correctly.

Tried to set up a new PW file on FF, which I had since upgraded, but it will not accept my "last PW".

I had installed FF version 78 ESR in a newly formatted SSD back in 2020. At that time, two profiles were created automatically under the Profiles folder: xxxxxxx.default, and xxxxxxx.default-esr. The first profile, the one without the "esr" suffix was never used - I don't even know how to switch into it.

The non-esr profile folder had always contained only 6 files totaling about 70 KB. The contents never changed - until a few days ago.

A few days ago I noticed the non-esr profile folder was modified. It now contains 28 files totaling 125 MB. 26 of the 28 files were modified on the same day (May 23rd), at 2 different time points. That folder and contents haven't changed since then.

I continue to use FF using the esr profile without apparent problems, but I would really like to know how/why the non-esr profile got modified suddenly. Any ideas, anybody?

Hi! My windows suddenly encountered problems and I had to reinstall it, but after reinstalling win and Firefox and logging into my account, none of my data loaded to the new Firefox. Please help, for me, loosing that much of bookmarks and passwords, is just like a matter of death and life.

My old iMac's Firefox browser was automatically changed to ESR (by Firefox) since the computer could no longer update the operating system through Apple (obsolete). When I purchased a new iMac and migrated my data to the new computer, Firefox ESR is still the browser, and says it is up to date. I am assuming I should get the most current regular Firefox version, but don't know if there is an easy way to change the version and preserve all my saved passwords, logins, bookmarks, etc. Looking for guidance. Thanks

nearly all page wont load, it just spins. sometimes after a couple of refreshes the page will come up instantly. this happens to 80 percent of pages. I have reset, but didnt help.

Why am I suddenly getting notifications with a tone appearing in the upper right corner of my screen from various entities like supermarkets, NextDoor, etc? This just started happening.

I run Windows 11 on my Laptop. Every few days, Firefox slows down so much that it becomes essentially unusable. If I uninstall and then reinstall, it works fine for a few days, and then it repeats its slow performance. I like Firefox, but if this continues, I will have to switch browswers.

Please help.

In my MS Windows 11 system in control panel, Apps > Default apps. Firefox is listed twice. In both of these there are these two separate listings: ".htm" and ".html". Below both these listing it says: "Firefox" "Firefox HTML Document"

Question: Can I remove/delete/uninstall one of these Firefox's? Question: Should I remove/delete the ".htm" and just leave the ".html"?

I am in the US. In the list of Search Shortcuts in firefox preferences, amazon is listed and used to be simply amazon.com. At some point it switched itself to amazon.de...Now anytime I go to amazon, I land on the German version. Yes, I use a vpn, but I never personally set the search shortcut to amazon.de. It happened without my permission. And I'd like to edit it back to the US version but there does not seem to be a way to Add the correct version without installing an extension which should be unnecessary. I can remove the wrong version of course, but then how to add the correct version and prevent it from switching without my permission?

I am on a mac, high sierra, firefox 113.0.2

I am currently unable to view any file activity or ownership information in Google Drive in a shared folder. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:

• Quit and reopen firefox
• Relaunched firefox in safe mode/extensions disabled
• Cleared cookies
• Tried in other browsers (works in Librewolf, Brave and Chromium; doesn't work in any Firefox browser (Nightly, beta, standard)

Hi.. Last few upgrades, Firefox browser will not keep passwords to bookmark sites. Have to go thru a lot of trouble to sign in to any password sites that is not saved any longer in Fire fox browser.. Tried all kinds of setting in Firefox and disable our virus programs and win 10 items to find a way to save pass words. Google and other browser will save the pass words. I installed Firefox at work and set my personal email address as secondary to my business address. Well, I liked Firefox so much that I decided to use it at work and at home - and I removed my personal email from my business account. Unfortunately Firefox is still recognizing my personal email as the secondary address for my business account and I am completely incapable of making a new account. My bookmarks and saved passwords are all different between home and work. I NEED two individual accounts, just like how I was using my browsers with Chrome.

When editing - composing a new email in Yahoo mail, the ENTER key is not making a NEW LINE. Resulting, I cannot write multi-line emails. But, when switching to Google Chrome, I have no issues, and ENTER key is working as it should.

I am new to Firefox browser, my IT guy recommended it over Chrome.

My issue is that I use Gmail as my email client, now I am all setup and been working all day, I have found I have to download my customers attachments, I can't drag them from the email to a folder.

I can open Chrome and still drag them from there but not Firefox

Am I missing a setting to tick? or and extension to use?

Scrambled Fonts: I see that many people have this issue. I am unable to resolve this. Starting in safe mode fixes the issue temporarily, but I am tired of this. As Firefox is the default browser throughout all my Apple Macs in my studio, I need to resolve this bug. I have also checked Safari and Chrome to verify this is a Firefox issue. The other browsers do not scramble fonts, and I have found no helpful topic article that can fix this.

Before I jump to Chrome as my default browser, I thought I would contact support to see if this can be salvaged.
