When attempting to perform a google search, if I include the text "c++" in my search, the "++" is always chopped off. It doesn't matter where it is in the search text and also happens if it is the only thing in the search. This also happens if i choose a suggested search topic that has the ++ in the search topic. I do not experience this with Edge and i do not experience this with Firefox installed on another computer. I am signed into the same profile with both computers. I am running Windows 11.

I can repro this issue with +, #, and &. Other special characters seem fine.

Hulu does not work in Firefox properly, but does in Chrome. Browsing HULU in Firefox has not worked frequently, especially in Prime time, but it has worked in other web browser with no problem.

sudden, strange refusal by Firefox to log in to the public on-line access (of a certain university hospital) which on-line service I have regularly used -- its certificates are up to date; no one else around me has had any problem logging in. NB I can access by using the Fiirefox 'Private Browsing' option, but it so happens that using the 'Private Browsing' is very inconvenient here for other reasons. Please advise.

I work with a web system where I need to view various types of files daily, such as images, videos, backups, etc. In previous versions of Firefox, when selecting the option to "Open with [application]," files were stored temporarily in a Temp folder and deleted after use.

However, now, even when I select "Open with [application]" in the download settings, Firefox saves the file to my Downloads folder instead of using a temporary location. This behavior clutters my Downloads folder with randomly named files I only need to view briefly.

I have already checked and adjusted the download settings, but the problem persists. Is there a way to revert to the old behavior where files are opened in a Temp folder and not saved permanently to the Downloads folder?

Three days ago video clips in Firefox News stopped loading. I get the never-ending circle showing that the system is trying to open the video but it never loads. I am in the process of moving all applications and file from my old computer from one windows 11 computer to another. The videos work on the new computer but no longer on the old computer. Any suggestions regarding getting the videos to work on the old computer during this transition?

On some websites that use radio buttons to navigate, I have found that either it returns with a blank line (such as thumbnails on Newspapers.com) or the site hangs (as I did when I tried to register online for two different transactions). In contrast, when I switch browsers, the sites work just fine.

Because I thought that restoring Firefox would solve the problem, I did just that; however, the problem persists.

What should I do now to make the sites work correctly?

One of the best or the best search engine on the web. Just discovered it today and have installed it on my Samsung Galaxy A15 5 g smartphone and it's absolutely just lightning ⚡ fast. Just wanted to let you know that I am really unbelievable so much happier now with Firefox.

Every time I type in "Blue.." to get to Bluesky social, I get an entry at the top "blue marble creative."

I'm unable to delete this autosuggest. It does not have 3 dots next to it like all the other entries do. Does this mean it's an add? If so, how can I prevent it from coming up?

Every time I visit, it’s like playing dodgeball with pop-ups and flashy banners! Any suggestions for taming this ad invasion would be awesome—bonus points if it comes with a shield and sword! 😄

Second website I've encountered in just a few days where Firefox will not display the article that appears below the initial screen. Both sites use the "down arrow" symbol at the bottom of the page to indicate that the reader needs to scroll down to continue viewing. When I scroll, there is no article, just a jumbled version of the menu information at the bottom of most websites. Edge and Chrome display the article properly.

问题： 在搜索任意内容后，点开网页时，不会出现加载网页，会出现如图1情况 如图2所示情况，仅转圈不加载并且不会加载成功任何网页。如下图是转圈完成后不加载任何网页之后，切换网页再打开到问题网页的结果，可以看到，加载网页链接丢失，内容丢失。同时有些网页伴有一次点击打开两个标签页的情况，我的鼠标没有双击，我确定没有双击，我换个新鼠标一样。 这种情况是在去年发生的，之所以今天我才列出来是因为之前有一小段时间没有很频繁的出现这种问题了，但是经过这次自动更新，这种问题基本会100%出现，故而讲出。 也是我在去年没有找到任何社区反馈窗口所以才停止了对这一问题的深究，但是不代表当时这种问题出现的频率低，当时出现的频率基本在90%以上，现在在本次更新后几乎变成了100%的概率，说实在的，我不清楚这个问题是不是只有我出现了，但是很让人恼火，对搜索体验和使用情况出现了极大的阻挠。 现在我如果想避免这种情况，我需要先打开一个无效网页然后再将搜索到的标签页链接拖拽到无效网页上去，可以有效打开一个网页，当然了，外部链接也是如此，经常像这样无法打开。 我检查过dns情况，dns首先是运营商dns，运营商dns会出现这种情况，我换到了其他多种dns，仍然会出现这种情况，所以我排除了dns的问题； 代理情况，没有任何代理，仍然出现此种问题。 我重置过火狐浏览器，效果不佳。

Since a couple of weeks, FireFox wil not open all frames locally from my website, but from the Internet it works just fine. When I work with my homepage, I test changes locally before publishing them. It works fine with Chrome, Edge, Brave and other bworsers. It's probably just a setting, but if anything, I have given more permits lately and not made restrictions. Anyway - I cannot find any setting, that should affect this. I have attached two images to illustrate the predicament, I'm in. frames1.png show the way I have organisted my pages. A frame at the top for overall navigation. A frame to the left that navigates the main-pages to the right. If I click on a link in the left pane, the main page no longer changes. frames2.png shows an actual example page. Windows 10 and Firefox latest version.
