Clicking on Instagram's followers/following should display floating window with a list of followers. But recently it does not anymore. (I don't remember started from which version, but I'm now using Firefox 75.0)

Also clicking on ellipsis (three dots) on the Instagram's comment section should display small floating window, but it's not. I tried in another domain, Google Play Store's reviews section, it's the same problem.

(It works perfectly in Chrome browser anyway.) Why? Is there something I'm missing with the new Firefox? Thank you in advance for helps.

@FredMcD Deleting cookies doesn't help. Also "disabling graphics hardware acceleration" doesn't help.

Opening Firefox in safe mode (with no add-ons) resolves the problem.

So I disabled add-on one by one, and it's the "Instagram Video Download by Lumerias" add-on causing the problem. Disabling it resolves the problem.

Thank you for the help anyway.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
