can not resolve repeated problem : "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." Cánt not find "Refresh"

Right below the search bar my browser has a warning "The security sandbox is disabled. Your configuration is unsupported and less secure."

I am on Windows 10. I have tried uninstalling firefox, removing appdata and all other firefox files and settings, resetting about:configs settings, disabling my BitDefender antivirus. Nothing fixes it. Completely fresh install of firefox still gives me that message. Sandbox level is default (9).

Any help would be appreciated.

Mid day Sunday my whole account disappeared and I had to create a new one. If this was an update I dont like it I dont have the time for this. Why did this happen. I have been a supporter for years and now not sure

I use the Microsoft Defender Security portal (security.microsoft.com) in the Firefox browser. In this portal, if you click on the "?" in the top right of the page, a flyout window opens and you should see support options on how to get help from Microsoft. On Firefox, I get an error that says "You do not have access to this experience. Please contact your admin to request help and submit a ticket". Microsoft has told me this issue is not a Microsoft issue since this only happens on Firefox and not any other browser. I am seeking help from any Firefox experts to figure out why I am getting this error in Firefox and how I can resolve this issue. I am running version 147.0.1 (64 bit) of Firefox.

When I select a text and right-click, the option to translate by Firefox's native translation feature appears. The default target language for this seems to be the defined by locale; for my case, it's always Turkish. How do I choose a different target language to appear in the context menu? I cannot see an option for default target language in settings.

When there are many tabs open, the displayed tab line re-centers automatically obscuring the open tab. Is there a way to disable this mechanism, or to insist that the open tab is kept visible? The current mechanism that obscures the open tab is user unfriendly.

I am using version 147.0.1 (don't know when last update) For the last 1.5 hrs I have been trying to restore the extensions icons as well as other, to the tool bar. when I close "customize" after putting them there they disappear, as does the "puzzle" piece I put up there. What is going on? I have read numerous articles on how to fix this to no avail. Only one character will stay to the right of the added search bar.

When printing puzzles from USA Today on my Canon Maxify, the crossword puzzle and the sudoku both show up as two pages, when they are only one each. If I don't change the setting from All to Current each time, it will print a blank page with each puzzle. This just started happening within the last month or two, but I have had Firefox/Duck Duck Go for many years. If I switch my browser and search engine to Google, which I hate, it shows and prints each puzzle properly. I don't know if it's the browser or the search engine, but it is a problem that I didn't have until recently. The print box is completely different from Firefox/Duck Duck Go to Google, so if it is Duck Duck Go that sets the printing box, I need to contact them. I have two machines running Windows 10 and Firefox 64 bit (synchronised and up-to-date). I recently noticed that the desktop is missing several Firefox bookmark folders, which contain hundreds of bookmarks.

How do I get the desktop fully synchronised with the laptop? Do I use backup? If I am to use backup, how do I see what is in backup, so that I know it is backimg up correctly? Do I reinstall the Firefox and import from backup?

On Chrome, web push notifications show the full origin (e.g. pl2.forgeofempires.com), but on Firefox only the notification text is visible, without the website address. Is this a Firefox limitation by design, or is there any way to enable showing the full origin in notifications?

The first time i'm installing Firefox it quickly made me fall in love with this browser and wanted to fully migrate from Chrome to Firefox, it's more lightweight, has more customization, fully private & secure. But there is only one thing that made me just almost migrate to Firefox, or just 99% complete transitioning to Firefox, and that is me unable downloading. Yes, thats it and it's pretty annoying. I just able downloading pictures, but not when i'm downloading an apps or software like Discord for example. PLEASE HELP ME, MY LAPTOP (X240) IS VERY OLD AND I NEED EVERY PERFORMANCE ON MY LAPTOP FOR WORKSTATION PLUS WITH THIS RAM PRICES (ykwim). Tomorrow i'm planning to switch to Linux (Mint MATE) and i have to do dual-boot just incase there is some software i'm unable to use at Linux. So please, help me. Give each step with no technical explanation, and use beginner languange so i'm easier to understand.

When I search a topic and a Youtube video appears in the search results it won't connect via the hyperlink to youTube. I doesn't give any message it just doesnt connect.

I had FF set up with a full page of frequently used link icons. When I ran CCleaner, it caused all of them to disappear. I've tried following the links, but have had no success so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All bookmarks and history lost. Have spent over 2 hours following the steps outlined as a standard treatment for this problem, attributed to another program interfering with Firefox Profiles or bookmarks. Restarts of Firefox and PC failed to restore, Going to Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks fails because when you get to the Library window for Import or Restore and select profile (I show 3 right now, all tagged as .default), there is no way in the window to accomplish a restore. You can insert a profile in the open window but there is no way to activate the restore function. Likewise when I accessed the list of 15 prior bookmark files I had the same result with the restore window. The instructions do not make any sense to me. Need somebody to contact me directly and walk through problem via phone call.

I have lost all bookmarks on a new laptop. Recently added C Cleaner and did a scan. That may have caused the problem. But, now I cannot recover the bookmarks, nor can I save new bookmarks. The version of Firefox on my android phone has the bookmarks. I can see them. But, I do not see a way to sync the devices and import the data to my laptop.

Please advise.
