Flash is broken on firefox - only partial loads videos/animations
Flash is not working on my machine ever since it upgraded to v20. The primary symptoms that are demonstrated are as follows:
- Twitch only loads the video controls, but not the video itself
- Speedtest's Flash app gets stuck at 100% Loading, but never actually loads
- The Flash test page only renders a single brown shape
It seems to be that something is wrong with animation.
I have tried both Safe mode, and Refreshing Firefox. Flash works fine in Edge on the above three sites.

Does it work with a fresh profile? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
Try to enable third-party cookies as a test.
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems.
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
So, it doesn't work on a fresh profile. Additionally, it's completely broken on different machine, also running Windows 10. As I stated above, I have also tried safe mode (though it doesn't help with Flash issues, as it needs the plugin). I've also tried refreshing my profile.
I do not believe it's a cookie issue, as the Flash app loads and appears to render the first frame, but then does not seem to progress any further into the animation.
What else can I provide to help with this?
You can check the log in the Web Console for error messages and the Network Monitor (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) to see if content fails to load or is possibly blocked.
You can also try the Live Http Headers extension.
Use Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+Shift+R to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.
Nothing useful in the log: Loading mixed (insecure) display content "http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif" on a secure page[Learn More] flash-player.html GET http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif [Mixed Content] [HTTP/1.1 200 OK 7ms] This site makes use of a SHA-1 Certificate; it's recommended you use certificates with signature algorithms that use hash functions stronger than SHA-1.[Learn More] sstats.adobe.com
The SWF is loading fine according to Network Monitor (see image)
You can try to disable HWA and protected mode in Flash: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/891337 & https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/adobe-flash-protected-mode-firefox
(restart FF in both cases)
