hello, firefox 22 is now respecting the pixel density you've set on a system level in the windows control panel > appearance > display. more information about that is availbale at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/make-the-text-on-your-screen-larger-or-smaller

if you want to set the text size/pixel density in firefox different from that of your system's settings like it was handled in prior versions, enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named layout.css.devPixelsPerPx. double-click it and change its value to 1.0 (or any other zoom factor that fits your purpose; -1.0 is the default value and will adhere to the system settings).

Your System Details List shows that you have no longer supported preferences from previous Firefox versions.
You also appear to have a user.js file to initialize prefs on each start of Firefox.

You can consider to delete the prefs.js file and possible numbered prefs-##.js files and a possible user.js file to reset all prefs to the default value.

I wanted Firefox to look as much as possible as it did before version 22, so what I did was this:

1. Enter about:config in the adress bar
2. Go to layout.css.devPixelsPerPx
3. Change the value to 1.0
4. Install the add-on Theme Font & Size Changer
5. Change general font size to 14

To me, Firefox now looks pretty much as before - not as big and bloated as with v22's adaption to Win7's 125% size increase and not as tiny and illegible as with general size 1.0

I sorta kinda understand what you guys are all saying.

I followed the above suggestion and set the value to 1.0.

Did NOT install the add-on and the pages look fine now, but the Firefox area (toolbars etc) are all quite small now. Not a big deal to work with on that side.

Would HOPE that Moz are going to send up a 22.x soon to take us back to what we originally had........... or somehow can we revert back to our last version we were using?
