If I type an adress in the URL bar and hit enter it does nothing, I have to Drag and Drop the adress to a new tab for it to work.

As above. The issue exists only when typing or pasting a link in the URL. If I click a bookmark it's OK.

Chosen solution

This is caused by one of your extensions (probably Ask toolbar or Kaspersky). Try disabling them from Firefox > Customize > Add-ons

I removed Ask Toolbar and it worked :D
