Firefox full crash
Basically since about 15-30 days ago my firefox has been constantly crashing when I open new tab or even simply a link to a website... the more 'power consuming' process is the more likely it will crash. Simply browsing stuff has nearly 0 likelihood of crashing. The frequency varies - something like youtube or steam game browsing will crash with extremely high frequency and will work fine after reopened. Some text based websites will barely ever crash the firefox.
What happens is either instant crash(most frequently) or infinite 'not responding' with the solution being task manager end process.
Either way it happens - reopening browser reopens all tabs that were open.
What I tried: 1) Cleared cache 2) Disabled all extensions. 3) Tried checking about:crashes - 0 reports there in last 30 days... meaning whenever I crash no actual crash report comes in.
I am using chrome at the same time and it has 0 crashing issues under similar circumstances.

What were you doing at the time? surfing, watching a clip, reading something . . . .
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Tested the safe mode version for a bit - couldn't get it to crash but will continue to test on it for a bit longer.

Okay, I think I narrowed down what manages to DECREASE the frequency of the crashes.
That is removing hardware acceleration... again, this only decreases frequency, not actually prevents crashing outright.
Crashes still happen but less frequent with the hardware acceleration disabled..
Which is strange since I made no hardware changes in previous 2 years and those 2 years I was using firefox as well, no crashes.
Can you list your extensions ?

Can you list your extensions ?
For the sake of the extensions not mattering I tried doing the 'firefox refresh' function 1 week ago which removed pretty much everything from my browser including all extensions. Issue persisted at same frequency... after that I installed ublock for advertisement blocking.
I told before that I for some reason am not getting any info in about:crashes even IF firefox tells it literally crashed, which is weird. But I noticed that I got 1 crash report a bit ago finally. Not sure if reason for that was what causes my usual crashes but here it goes in case it might help: https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/cc6e1450-ffd9-4ac0-ab81-96eed0200812
Also another weird fact: For some reason firefox uses 0.1-1% cpu even when I have multiple tabs opened and am actively using it. Which usually was not the case and it used at least a few % when it worked normally.

MemTest LAST UPDATED : 27/09/2013
Could you please run a tool from http://memtest.org/
in order to check the integrity of your RAM?
You will need a thumb or disk drive to install it on.
Do you let Windows handle the page file or did you set a fixed size ?
If you use a fixed size for the page file then try the former and let Windows handle the page file.
Will take some time before I can do memtest.
Also managed to catch the correct crash report, which I am sure is what always occurs:

You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
Oh, thanks for pointing out the E residency thing, I figured it out...
Basically my country has OFFICIAL software to login with your ID card(passport like thing).... and like all government software - they can't do a single crap normally >>
Uninstalled this crap and now it's all good.. sigh.. makes me wonder why we even have to pay taxes when such miserable effort is all we get back.'
Basically this piece of software is not compatible on firefox but is forced into it no matter if you want it or not.... and you can't even partially uninstall it from firefox, can only take down the whole thing, which I did.
Seems like they only tested it normally on chrome.
Thanks for help anyway, solved.
