Since this morning, every attempt to reach www.youtube.com lead to redirection "gositedeal" and then I land on "ww-youtube.com". All other browsers show no issue with www.youtube.com. I've all browsing history, cookies, everything. Same issue.

Help!

Based on your add-ons that you have listed in your system details, the issue is probably caused by one of your add-ons installed on Firefox. An easy way to see if this is the problem is to run Firefox in Safe Mode. If the issue goes away, it's likely an add-on that's causing the issue.

You will probably also want to scan your computer to make sure that you haven't gained any malware. You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Hope this helps.

Thanks a million Wesley for your response! The issue was one of the add-ons that started acting crazy. Disabled and removed. :)

Can you write which one. I have a same problem and I have almost 40 addons, so test everything takes forever.

Either Simple Video Downloader or Simple Youtube to MP3/MP4 Converter. I disabled both

Thanks for quick answer, but I've found problematic addon already and in my case that was FVD Video Downloader. Wierd situation with these downloaders.

Thanks lapiece for listing addons. I had the same problem and was using Simple Video Downloader too, now disabled. Problem seems to be gone. I also disabled Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express just in case. I was being redirected to - (replacing dot with comma) - ww-youtube,com ww-EBAY,com emazon,co

The redirect links (found 9 in history) used domain - gositedeal,com.... If you go to that domain it rediects to - ppcmate, com

This was also happening when using Google search. The first click on a link or white space on a search results page triggered one of these redirects.

So all this inconvenience caused by someone trying to be sneaky and running a PPC campaign. And a really bad one at that.

Depending on your add-ons listed in your system descriptions, the problem is probably one of your add-ons installed in Firefox. An easy way to see if this is a problem is to run Firefox in safe mode. If the problem goes away, it is the supplement that causes the problem
