Hi Tammy47, is Firefox is asking you to log into your Firefox Account, which is used for the Sync service? That would be necessary for Sync to work, but it is not needed to visit websites. You can cancel the Firefox Account login and browse normally if you don't need Sync to run right now.

Hello,

In order to better assist you with your issue please provide us with a screenshot. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.

Thank you!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Try to reset the Firefox Sync password to see if that gives access to the account and disable two factor authentication. You may have to try this more than once to be able to disable 2FA. Try to logout and login again to get a fresh login.
