do i need firefox x64 for windows 10 version which is what my computer is operating?
If the answer is yes where would i find that download?
Chosen solution
The 32 bit version should be fine and is what most Windows users use.
The 64bit version is not quite as flexible when it comes to using plugins, it is limited to FlashPlayer & Silverlight. For a while it has still been thought of as experimental on Windows, although we Linux users have had the 64 bit version for years as have Mac users.
The big advantage is if you have a lot of RAM maybe 8 or 16GB Firefox may be able to make use of that. Both versions are available for download from
I believe Mozilla has plans soon to offer the 64bit version by default where applicable to Windows users, See also
