Some programs using windows 10 ask for flash to be installed but it already is!
10% of my programs (e.g. Pandora) ask for Flash to be installed but the latest Flash is already installed. These programs run on Chrome. The help desk for these programs say just move to Chrome. Any ideas?

It's crazy, but there are separate Flash installers for Firefox and IE, Chrome has it built-in and Edge might as well.
To see whether Firefox detected a compatible Flash plugin on the system, you can check on the Add-ons page, either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. On the right side, scroll down to the grayed area at the bottom and look for "Shockwave Flash". Can you change it to either "Always Activate" to "Ask to Activate"?
If it is too old to activate, or completely missing, you can get the current version on this page:
https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
In the first table, look for the row for "plugin-based browsers" and you can use either the EXE or the MSI installer.
Or if you want to check on disk first, it should be found here on 64-bit versions of Windows for 32-bit applications like Firefox:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash => NPSWF32_19_0_0_185.dll
Can you get it enabled and running?
