Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

And before you say, oh it looks like the file is corrupt, its not its firefox corrupting it with bad calls, is this going to be resolved soon!?

Chosen solution

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies got corrupted.

  • Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Simply restarting firefox resolves the issue in this case it is prob cause i have options to clear cookies and history etc when terminating the app.

And re: PDF, yeh i kno! how strange hey, i cant seem to remove either, One was from a adobe suit install, and one auto installed itself sometime afterwards as an upgrade but left the former intact! it doesnt seem to affect anything i think i have them both disabled tbh.
