unable to see the full web page without moving the page to the right.

unable to see the full web page without moving the page to the right.

Chosen solution

You may be used to using a zoom control on the toolbar in other browsers. Firefox has buttons for zoom, but you need to move the "Zoom Controls" from the dialog of unused buttons to a convenient location. This article describes how to do that: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

Or you could use the keyboard and mouse options:

  • Hold down Ctrl and tap - to make the text smaller (or + to enlarge)
  • Hold down Ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel toward you to make the text smaller (or away from you to enlarge)

If the zoom gets way too far in the wrong direction, holding down Ctrl and tapping 0 (zero) will reset you to the standard level.

Do you mean that the pages are too wide and that you get a horizontal scroll bar?

You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.

Many thanks for your suggestion. The problem was just too much zoom.
