I'm not sure when it appeared on my browser, but one day I noticed a square box that had a QJ in it and when I clicked (opened) it it was some kind of java thing..? well since then I've stripped java from my laptop and as soon as I reinstalled java, there it was, hanging out in the right corner...sort of like it was flippin me off, saying I couldn't get rid of it that easy...LOL...now many different strange things are happening, some of the links don't work in sites, sometime in one site i had to make it red for some links and blue for the others on the same web page...I really need some help with whatever this is...I hope you all can offer up a bit of advice...Thanks so much... I have window 7 64bit It's a Toshiba Satellite I have the current version of Firefox, I'm up to date with java, adobe, windows is up to date....hope i have all the info you need

QuickJava is an add-on that you could deactivate or remove if you like. For more information about it:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/quickjava

To disable or remove an extension, visit the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions.

Now, about the links, I'm not really clear on the red/blue thing. Could you describe the problem in more detail? If there's a particular page where you notice this problem, could you post the address and describe which links are not working for you?

It's gone..jeeze I feel sorta stupid but I never even looked in extensions...add ons is where I thought it came from, thanks for the help...the red and blue..I think it was on and off...one was off one was on...I think..but it appears to be gone so, a day of celebration is in order...break out those party hats and cake and lets get busy! Thanks! Add another solution to your list of accomplishments!
