After FrontMotion 24 deployment and constant crashing, deploying full Firefox 25.0 -ms has cache issue and displays weird

I deployed FrontMotion's CEES 24 version of Firefox and we later figured out it crashes on startup. Awesome. I thought I'd just push mozilla.org's full Firefox 25 installer out and install over it - but now a lot of PC's are having the cache issue (must clear cache before you can get anywhere), Firefox has two "windows bars" (min/max/close bar), varying display oddities like a large translucent space between the firefox button and the top of the window - all kinds of crazy stuff. How in the world do I remediate this fiasco? It seems like uninstalling Firefox 25 manually and forcing removal of personal (profile) data fixes the issue, but it's not really an option for me to simply tell every affected user "Sorry, Firefox glitched out and you'll lose all your bookmarks".

Does a Firefox Reset fix this? Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings That would save all personal data but might correct the issue.

I'd like something I can push to clients via CM. As I said we probably have hundreds of clients in this state right now. Something manual isn't really a good fix for us - teachers can't spend the first 25% of every class period walking kids through manually resetting firefox.
