I have Windows 7, and ended up clicking on something that gave me 'address' box in my TASKBAR (below the screen; I am NOT referring to the toolbar above the screen. I want it gone. Where to go to do this?

Chosen solution

Right-click your Windows task bar and try this:

Toolbars > uncheck Address

Does that work? If your task bar is locked, you might need to unlock it first in order to make this change. That's also on the right-click menu.

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

Right click on Taskbar, go to Properties, go to Toolbar, unclick Address. The end. Thanks for the replies.
