I have two firefox icons running horizontally at the bottom of my home page, how do I get rid of Firefox (2)?

I am guessing that this is just something pinned to the Windows launcher, and so someone more familiar with Windows may do better at answering it. If you attach a screenshot it may help me understand what you are seeing *[[How do I create a screenshot of my problem?]] Note however there is a problem with some Firefox installations on Windows,and that the registry could have been updated incorrectly so that you appear to have 2 copies of windows when only one is present. <br/>In such circumstances do NOT try uninstalling or you loose Firefox, and do NOT use any option to remove personal information,becaause that tries to destroy bookmarks, passwords and other settings from all normally installed versions of Firefox. * see [[Why do I have two versions of Firefox in my Windows Control Panel?]]
