I updated to Firefox 15.01 and all the sudden my hardrive is almost full. I have a 80GB SSD, so space matters. I go into uninstall programs to see what is taking so much space and there it is, Firefox is taking 42.3GB. I downgraded back to Firefox 15 but nothing changed. Any ideas?

Which files and folders take up that much space?

Are there any multiple files with a number in the Firefox Profile Folder that can accommodate for this amount of space taken?

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder
