I have been using Firefox for a while now, since Firefox 3, but recently, my browser has ben having a very weird behaviour. While browsing, Firefox suddenly freezes (working in background or busy cursor", then "continues normal browsing". It also has problems with youtube video playback. Video loads correctly, starts playing, but suddenly wits the playback "on the fly" and fills the progres bar in a blink, returning the "an error ocurred" messages or behaves as the video had finished playing (although it never did complete playback). Tried uninstalling flas player, cleaning registry errors and program errors after uninstall, rebooting, reinstalling from adobe website. It did not work. Tried Safe Mode (no pluginns) did not work either. same weird behaviour. It is a brand new Firefox installation (I had problems with the other one 4 months ago). I am clueless at the moment about where the problem causing this weirdness resides. I ask for your knowledgable help. Thanks, if any more details are needed, I will gladly write them down.

Yep, cleaning history cache seems to have been the culprit. I forgot to mention I cleared Network cache just before posting the question, but NOT History caché. Thank you a lot mha00007-san. The "sudden" boading lag in firefox SEEMS to have stopped too, but I am not 100% certain, I will keep updating the status either for recurring "loadings" or "problem solved" after browsing for a while.
