hi. for the past several weeks and almost every day since it started, firefox will not load a website or perform an action unless i'm moving the cursor. for example: i go to my yahoo inbox and click on an unread email. if i'm not moving the arrow, the action pauses until i move the arrow. it will continue to pause and will only complete an action if i am constantly moving the arrow cursor. while navigating your site for troubleshooting tips- every time i clicked on a link, the action would pause and the little green circle in the tab would stop if i wasn't moving the arrow cursor. once i move it the action resumes, and i must continue moving it to complete the action. usually i will try clearing history, cache, remove cookies, etc, then will restart the laptop and then it will work fine. also, every time i try clearing history and cache, remove cookies, etc.- the browser and window stops and i get a "not responding" notice on the tab. after a couple minutes, it usually finishes the action, but often i have to go into the task manager to close firefox and try again. i have avg business edition and it runs scans twice a week, but hasn't caught anything that i would consider the culprit. i've even done a dns flush to see if that helps, but these two quirks continue. i've even uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, but that has not helped. let me know if you have an idea on what the problem is. i've been a long time firefox user and have always been happy with its performance. these glitches are the first i've had, and while not a huge deal they are getting annoying to the point where i've had to use google chrome a few times. thanks for your help in advance. brian
