Firefox maximizes another window everytime I click a link that opens in new window
This doesn't happen on my laptop at home, only on my office computer for the past 2-3 weeks.
Basically every time I open a new link that requires a new window to pop open, my most recently opened window will maximize along with it. It gets very annoying as sometimes I need to quickly go back to my old window and I have to minimize this other window as well.
I did my search on the internet as well as here and got no definite answer. Hope someone can help!

This issue can be caused by an extension or plugin that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Nice! It wasn't the theme but I realized I allowed a "ASK Toolbar" to be installed as a add-on. I removed that and everything is back to normal! Thanks for the help!
Go into Tools > Add-ons and Choose Themes. You can either re-install your current theme or choose a new theme. That resolved the issue of my browser window from having to be manually minimized. Every time I downloaded an audio clip it would open maximized and changing my theme fixed that issue. I would imagine it would fix multiple browser issues.
