Older youtube videos don't show on firefox.
Hello, There when I click on the videos section of a youtube chanel on firefox, I can only see the videos for the past three months. Anything past that I cannot see. The same problem doesn't happen on chrome, where I can go right back to the channels first video.I'm running Windows 10 firefox 100. Isthere a solution.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version
Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content.
- click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection
You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages about blocked content.
You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:
You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).
"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"
"Clear the Cache":
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> [X] Cached Web Content -> Clear
Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
Thanks, but none of those worked.
Are you looking in your History?
No, I am looking through the older videos of channels I watch. Videos that were out before I sucscribed to these channels. Videos I know are there because I saw them before on firefox and can still see them on chrome.
This one, and pritty much every channel that I watch. On chrome when I go down the list past videos keep loading, on firefox this use to be the case but no longer is the case.
I can see videos from 3yrs ago. see screenshot
Good for you.
Some site users don't keep video posting for as long as 3 years or gets removed because of DMCA request. But those less frequent visited sites probably keeps their uploaded because they need to always upload content. Chrome and Firefox has no control on how the content creator time line for videos to remain there or replaced or removed.
That has absolutely no bearing on anything İ've written here, which if you had read the post carefully you would have known. This is one of the most useless comments I have seen, and it is a pity I cannot dislike it several times over.
To help us to better understand the issue so that we can find the best solution for you, please can you attach a screenshot of what you are seeing.
Does it make a difference whether you are logged in or not ?
No it doesn't. Thanks.
