i cant get onto 1 website after the firefox update on January 28th or 29th i get Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG i have tried in private mode i have tried in microsoft edge i have tried to restart my router and i have tried waiting but i still get the error and im hopeing for some help to fix it. thank you for any help you can give.

ok i just did a manual scan for windows updates and it found an update after instaling the update it seems to have fixed the problem sofar so i guess this post can be marked as solved.

You can try to disable DNS over HTTPS.

You can check the connection settings.

  • Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

ok i tried everything that you have posted and its still the same still get the error no idea at this point if it was just something in the firefox update that messed something up or i need to wait for the website provider to do something.
