Complaint about Firefox Color and Personas
I am very disappointed and angry that you have decided to totally get rid of Personas and force Firefox Color on your users. I have tried Firefox Color and absolutely hate it. I tried to make my own theme with an image stored on my pc and could not get it to display correctly. There is absolutely no help for your shitty FF Color or any way of increasing or decreasing custom image sizes. I liked the old Personas Plus better and hardly had any trouble with them all the years I've been using them. Now I can't even view my favorites or collected Personas on my version of Firefox (which is 56) on the addons site. I know that this issue has been fixed with newer versions of FF, but I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to update FF anymore thanks to your idiocy with removing a great deal of addons that I use almost daily. Bring back Personas and get rid of FF Color!!!!
Additional System Details
- Shockwave Flash 32.0 r0
- User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0
You can't change the looks unless you use "userChrome.css" edits to make those changes. firefox install the default layout and it's up to the user to decide with "userChrome.css" how they want to change the look and layout. You can no longer do changes like in the past anymore this is the layout going forward to make changes is to use "userChrome.css" edits to make those modifications to firefox layout.
Firefox Color is currently a Test Pilot experiment and is probably still under development.
I assume that Personas Plus is still working in Firefox 56, the last Firefox version that supported Legacy extensions.
West End - I'm not familiar with CSS so I don't have the know how on how to use it.
Cor-el - Personas Plus was still working with FF 56 until yesterday. I can no longer access my favorites with it nor is it showing any featured personas like it used to. I can still add personas to FF using the themes on the addon page and a workaround I found that would allow me to access my favorites on the old version of the addons site.
Here's something about userChrome.css
