Also, I searched and this is a big issue with many gmail users. The fix from Gmail on talk boards, not exist in my Acer built 11/11 Aspire. I want a FIX for all gmails, not just change the Firefox autozoom to 120% every time I open gmail. I want my emails in normal type NOT large, so my readers of my emails, will see them in NORMal type not large. Sometimes I send a largish email, and I like them for me and for the reader at the other end to be NORmal sized font. But this auto TINY sizing issue is a gmail issue and started a month ago. Too bad gmail keeps back/blaming Firefox in their forums for it. I don't really think it's a browser issue since it NEVER EVER happens anyplace else, not in ymail and not anyplace JUST ONLY in Gmail.
Gmail has gotten very user unfriendly lately. Too bad ymail sucks so bad.
Also, while typing emails in gmail, on the Acer, constantly the cursor is AUTO jumping elsewhere on the page and hard to notice that when fast typing in data. Can I undo the autojumping? I searched for fixes in either Acer programming or Windows 7 and found nothing useful or workable on my old 1.4 slow speed Acer.

HI, not sure what you have going but let's start with a Clean install. Please uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 61.0.1 with a Full Version Installer

Since you asked about a reinstall, that is a can of worms and this is why. In the past 3 weeks I spent, 55 hours in CHAT with Microsoft including many hours of them remoting in to my old Acer. why? here's why. This is a 11/11 built machine, then refurbed by ?co. then bought by a large firm with many laptops. that co. donated it to a dog rescue group I volunteer for and they gave it to me free. I had lots of issues and it had Windows 10. After a lot of chats, remotes and several direct landline phone calls to me, they said bring that Acer to the local Microsoft store for free and we'll see about this. They uninstalled W 10 and installed W 7 home premium. The overal performance of the Acer improved hugely. All that happened about a week ish ago. I can't say that really has a thing to do with anything, because in searching online, BOTH my issues: the autofill my username in Gmail and the TINY fonts on my inbox emails in Gmail, are VERY COMMON issues right now by many many users of Gmail. I can't imagine all of us have the same Acer and such. I don't think my Acer has a single issue. In the past 10 days EXperts at the Microsoft store have lovingly done a lot of work in 4 visits and all for FREE. they have bent over backwards for me and I am humbled by them.
I think my issues are NEW inbuilds to Gmail and Have read that on google forums by Google staffers. NOT changeable.
I won't mess at at with my Operating system no way.
by the way, I have: Firefox Quantum 61.0.1 (64 bit) and just installed it days ago, once W 7 was in, after the Microsoft store near me, uninstalled W 10 and they installed at their store a clean nice W 7 home premium. Again, this thing was a refurb, then it was bought by a co. with lots of laptops and then they donated it to a dog rescue, who I do lots of volunteering for. they gave me it. I think the ?able refurb. co., may likely have not done the best job. Also note, I have a VEry slow internet connection speed at my bldg.. and a 1.4 speed on the processor. AMD
Then do all of the above except install Firefox and install Seamonkey https://www.seamonkey-project.org/
You may have accidentally zoomed web page(s). Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.
- View -> Zoom -> Reset (Ctrl+0/Command+0 (zero))
no corel. i did not., it is doing it on it's own, and not always either. personally i think either gmail glitch, or an issue in Acer Aspire built 11/11

help. I installed SeaMonkey seems good. I MESSED up and on accident put in my 'wrong' NOT the one I meant to, email address. I cannot locate where you DELETE the wrong current email address and ADD the correct new one in? where do I do that please?

gmail inbox, and READING an email, continues to AUTO zoom ITself to tiny tiny fonts. I did all the asked fixes none work.
I feel like SeaMonkey did this.
Also, unable to change primary email address in SeaMonkey since mine has NO Options tab..only Preferences.
I want to remove the email address I on accident put in and put in the one I DESIRE to use with SeaMonkey

note. W 8 64 bit is on the ACER site for my SNID
yet a week ago, the geniuses at the MIcrosoft store, installed W 7 home premium, solely since it's sticker from the refurbisher is on the bottom of this laptop.
If Acer built and designed this Aspire, to be W 8 64 bit, and W 7 home premium 64 bit was the DECISION due to tonssssssssssss of issues, BY the microsoft people, i wonder if they had a REAson to put in W 7 like did the refurbisher and NOT W 8 like Acer says my SNID came with????
I took 3 busses to see the microsoft store, each way on 4 dates in a 6 days period. free to me i just want this thing to work. i am not techy and poor $
60 HOURS in chat with microsoft experts including them remoteing in and phoning me direct 5 times from their places
acer is a major hassle in Aspire, for a non techy person
