i can't select some items from some websites using firefox but i can select them and copy them using other browsers and i can select them using the same firefox using another device i'm using latest version of firefox

Can you select/copy on that page and successfully paste elsewhere?

Maybe a blog would be an easier example (no login required).

Might be few websites are restricted to copy information from there site ( I mean to say Ctrl+C function will be disabled).

Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? In its Safe Mode, Firefox temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem.

If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
  • Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

and OK the restart.

Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).

Hi, could you give this quick fix a try : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 58.0.2 with a Full Version Installer

Hi, did you uninstall as per the instructions and did you reinstall with the full version installer ?

If you did and it is not working still : REFRESH INSTRUCTIONS

Please Refresh but do this 1st: Delete your Cookies and Cache and TEST.

TEST....... If no issues then Extensions which need to be added back in 1 at a time and tested ..... Or it is your Profile : Make a new one and test ...:

Note: Any customization will revert back to default, you will also need to reinstall Extensions.

I suggest you to install Adope flash plugin for settings associated with graphics card. Please check below link for steps for plugin installation on browser.
