cant stop facebook from scrolling between posts

Downloaded the "latest" firefox and now facebook switches between posts every 2-3 seconds and I cant stop the switching to even have time to read anytrhing. HELP, please ! ! !

If you use uBlock Origin then this could be a problem with this extension. A force-updating of Ublock's filters should fix this (you may have to repeat this more than once).

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
