We have an application that houses files for us. I'm not sure what happened an upgrade or what, but a few weeks ago, we started not being able to open files listed on a webpage. The file highlights and the cursor changes to the hand, but when we click on the file name, nothing happens. A file open box doesn't appear and there's no error message, just click and nothing. We're able to open the same webpage, same files with Chrome. Thanks in advance!!

Are you trying to download or view those files? What type of files are they?

HI, The file type doesn't affect the inability to select a file, we have .pdf, .xlsx and .doc. None of the files listed on the page get any kind of reaction when the URL is selected. Thanks!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Hey there. Started in safe mode and still have the issue. I'm not sure if there's anything else to try. I opened a ticket with our IT, but that was a while ago and was hoping there was something I could change on my settings. Thanks for your help!

You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about opening these files.

You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.

If necessary use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.

Thanks very much for your suggestions; however, the last few URLs are way above my capacity, to resolve this issue. Thanks again.
