How do I get access to my gmail inbox from the toolbar?

With the new firefox the mail icon is gone. I just want to get access to gmail inbox easily from toolbar.

hi, you can either use an addon like https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/gmail-checker-simple/ for example or if you're looking to have a couple of links to different sites handy you may want to enable the bookmarks toolbar: Bookmarks Toolbar - Display your favorite websites at the top of the Firefox window

Thank you very much. It certainly worked easily. However, I am not sure why there is the number 5966 covering the M on the icon.
