I'm concerned another new Firefox will take away my ability to use Adobe - again.

I'm older and not "into" new gadgets. I just need it to work. It took me a month to figure out how to get Adobe to run properly. I don't want to have to keep doing this every time there is a new update. I use adobe to check my bank statements, so it's important I have it.

Hi lindaatg:

You wrote "I'm concerned another new Firefox will take away my ability to use Adobe - again. "

  1. By "new Firefox" do mean what happens when you upgrade from FF52 to 57?
  2. By "Adobe" do you mean Adobe Acrobat Reader for PDF files or do you mean something else. If you mean Adobe Acrobat Reader for PDF files then yes it should continue to work I believe!
  3. If there are further details on what you did, what you expected, what happened or you concernded about in your future upgrade to Firefox 57 please let me know.

Cheers!

Roland,

By "new Firefox" I mean the newest upgrade. When Firefox upgraded to 52.4.1 I lost my ability to use Adobe for PDF files until I downloaded an additional program from Firefox to do so. It should continue to work "I believe is not the same as "it will continue to work".

Will Firefox continue to make the additional programs available for all future updates?
