I have tried to open emails in my inbox using Firefox, Google Chrome and my smart phone. In addition I have rebooted both my computer and my modem. None will open the email; it sits there and says "loading email....". Unfortunately, if you respond with an email to this query I will not be able to open it.

Sounds like a problem with whatever you use for email, what with having that problem with two different browsers AND your smart phone.

Any chance your email service provider is Comcast.net?

Recently Comcast email loading has been so slow for me that I can almost run upstairs to refill my coffee mug and come back to my PC before my email inbox loads.
