When clicking my mouse to drop down my bookmark menu it shows the menu for an instant then it disappears. I click 2 more times and then it stays down. Similarly when clicking on Mozilla's icon to connect with the internet sometimes multiple windows are started with only one click. Seems kinda glitchy, any thoughts?

Chosen solution

Places Maintenance {web link} Allows to run Maintenance tasks on the database that drives Places, the bookmarks and history module behind Firefox.

Open the Add-ons Manager. Locate the add-on and press the Options button. Then follow the directions.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
