
HELP Please I am deperate & I cannot get rid of yahoo in my search loc box *believe me I have tried 2 diff malware removals comp & reinstalled foxfire HELP plea
I have been dealing with this now for over a week & nothing I have done has helped. I have run 2 diff malware scans to no avail, I have myself checked my c drive with no luck. when I put in for foxfire to search, it will tell me one of 3 things -Foxfire cannot locate that site -Foxfire license is not current -Mozilla doesn't recognize foxfire HUH? I am actually trying to use google (which I hate or to be politcially correct)which I choose not to use:) I about ready to pull my hair out and bald woman are not a pretty site.....hahaha I am trying to keep my humor about me. please can't someone help me, I betcha that it was brought in by Adobe FlashPlayer or Adobe PDF those were the last two I installed or update with the excep of FireFox after a malware scan. any & all help would be appreciated

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Remove “ yahoo “ Anything. Also look for SafeSearch or SearchAssist Incognito.
Now do the same in the computer’s Programs Folder.
Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the Applications folder. Linux: Check your user manual.
