i cannot scroll down on any webpage since two days can only use sidebar now

Since the last two days I cannot scroll down any web page and have to use the side bar only, i have done some windows updates as google said but that hasn't helped. Please advise

Could you test: 1) in safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

2) with a fresh profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

If the new profile works, so you can reset your current profile to keep only private data: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-to-fix-most-problems

Thanks for your reply, I have since concluded that it was the mouse having a problem.
