Every time I enter "lowes.com" it changes to "lowes.com.mx" and I go to the Mexican lowes page. So far, this only happens to Lowes.

Every time I enter "lowes.com" it changes to "lowes.com.mx" and I go to the Mexican lowes page. So far, this only happens to Lowes.

Chosen solution

I fixed this by going into windows registry and deleting everything that refered to lowes.com or lowes.com.mx.

Thanks for all the help!

Please go to cookies under Tools, Options, Privacy then look for remove Individual Cookies.... Once there delete all of Lowes and anything else you do not want tracking you.... Once done go to Lowes.com and click the "appropriate country your in" as options are Canada, USA, Mexico

Please return and mark if this is a solution or not, G'luck

What does this webpage say about your location? http://whatismyipaddress.com/

I removed the Lowes cookies, restarted Firefox. Still goes to mexican lowes and there is a cookie again from lowes.com.mx.

whatsmyipaddress reports the correct area for me.

I believe this is a Lowes.com problem and just keep removing the .mx cookie till Lowes resolves the redirect problem they are having.

Possible it is your service provider also so may want to send a email to your support there as to redirect issue/mis-identification of your location.

I suggest you may want to contact lowes.com and copy the info from here though I would expect them to have fixed the this problem since is a Monday.... Do get on Lowes as they should have the answer and report back to you if it is a there problem (haha) and if it is not.... please follow up and if this was a solution please mark it. G'luck

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, cache, and exceptions, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

"Forget about this site" does not help either. I still end up in Mexico.

I just tried IE and get the same exact problem.

I tried my Kindle (connected to same router) and NO problems.

I tried my computer at work, no problem with Lowes.com

I have run my virus checker and Spybot. They found no problems.

That was very good work. Well Done.
