verizon imposed need to change password;blames inability to make change on Firefox. Is that accurate?
All I wanted to do was pay my bill, but instead have spent spent 3 hrs. attempting to make changes imposed by Verizon (eg web page won't let me proceed unless I make changes: new password, pick a security image + a phrase to go with it; pick new security question/answer). When info is completed, it routes me right back to the page after I sign in with new password...then I remembered I have had this issue before with them and had to sign-up to use Chrome to get their site to work properly. I have a different computer now and do not want to sign up for Chrome AGAIN (don't use it), and I have a hard time believing this inability for the changes to compute via Firefox is STILL an issue in the year of 2015!! Anyone know a way around it? Thanks.

Try clearing the cookies for the Verizon domain, and see what happens.
This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.
- check the permissions on the about:permissions page and in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"

If you use extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
