Constant blue circle of "thinking" with Win7 on pages with certain ads (not all ad pages)
Constant blue circle of "thinking" with Win7 on only certain pages with ads. Happens on only some pages on a site, not all, like only a few of the youtube music video pages I have accessed and from varying different websites other than youtube. Also unable to load a web-based game called Settlers Online. I was accessing these pages and the Settlers game previously without issue and don't know what has changed to have caused this trouble. When it happens the responsiveness of the webpage goes way down like the PC is really struggling with something. The PC is a rather robust setup and these things have never caused any issue like this in the past.
I have run anti-virus sweeps and anti-malware sweeps. I have "refreshed" and also un-installed and re-installed firefox and the same with flashplayer. I have cleared all the cache, history, blah, blah... Its a firefox issue only as I finally broke down and DL chrome which has zero issues with any of this stuff.
Any tips and/or direction is welcome and appreciated!
Image 1 note: Other apps running explain the amount of memory being utilized. The CPU at 15% is not normal though, the other video pictured without the problem shows the CPU at 5%.
Image 2 Note: Same page displayed in Image 1 with the issue but without the ad - CPU at 4%.

Try out these add-ons;
Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it
Adblock Plus {web link} Blocks annoying video ads on YouTube, Facebook ads, banners and much more. Adblock Plus blocks all annoying ads, and supports websites by not blocking unobtrusive ads by default (configurable).
Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon {web link} Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon extends the blocking functionality of Adblock Plus to those annoying pop-up windows that open on mouse clicks and other user actions.

You can check the timing in the Network tab of the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) to see what content is causing this.
You can check the Network log in the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) to see if content fails to load or possibly is blocked (file size is zero).
Use Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+Shift+R to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that helps.
I tried multiple youtube music videos and was not able to duplicate the problem on youtube again which is odd because I have always encountered it within a few page loads. I was able to duplicate the problem on a forum site I frequent which is the top portion of the attached image (two lines that loaded zero file size). I was also still unable to load the settlers game and the files that had a zero file size are displayed on the lower part of the attached image.
I don't know how to interpret the information on the image and have attached it for your convenience in hopes you know what that stuff is and perhaps can offer a suggestion as to how I could proceed.
I started firefox in safe mode and still had the issue.
I have not DL and tried the suggested add-ons yet as I don't feel using an add-on as a workaround should be required and the "free" sites utilize these ads to stay in operation. I will attempt that method if we are unable to get the issue fixed in another manner over time.
Thank you both so much for your time, talent and willingness to help!
