Why is Firefox blocking my log-in to my credit card company?
Firefox is not responding to any of my questions or concerns. Nor is Firefox resolving a particular issue I have notified Firefox about several times. That ad just pushes about every button I have and NO my goat is not tied up outside.

Thanks for your info except I am able, again, to log into my credit card account.
Sorry, do you mean unable/not able? I can't tell whether there was any difference (i.e., do the strange blocked ad messages go away).

Hi Dennis, I'm confused. You reported this last month and said it was solved by using an ad blocking extension: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1070867
Did that solution stop working?
Actually, you may have two different issues...
Can you provide more information about the logging in problem? I assume that is not on AOL. Is there a specific error message? What happens exactly?

Right. It quit working and the ad now appears on pages in which it blocks content I should be seeing. Like on my verizon account page it pops up in the middle of the page and blocks account info. Ad Block did seem to help but it petered out.
Could you test the problem sites in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox.
If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.
If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
- "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
- Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
and OK the restart.
Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).
Any improvement?

Yes. The log-in was attempted on a new tab. It is working now but I had tried to log-in three times in all getting the untrusted site message-if it was a Firefox message. Couldn't read all the info in the dialog box.
