
my search bar has changed to google.pt from google .ie,how do i change it back

Do you otherwise still have all files of your locale or did you only install this google.ie search engine previously?
You can check what search engines are installed in "Options/Preferences > Search".
You can check the XML files in the browser\searchplugins folder in the Firefox program folder in case this was one of the built-in search engines. Search engines that you did install yourself are in the searchplugins folder in the Firefox profile folder.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
