Firefox is resolving youtube.com and firefox support site as a "text" page...not full page, please advise.

I've uninstalled and re installed Firefox to resolve this problem..but that did not help. Firefox is not resolving certain pages correctly. For example Youtube.com comes out like a "text" page with columns...not graphics...almost like the internet of 1994?? Also, ironically, Mozillas own support page is rendering with this strange layout also> Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
