What is the address of the Firefox homepage that has a search bar? The homepage page addresses I've found don't have a search bar--one like I find on Google
Does Firefox always use Google to do searches?
I want to see my default page but "firefox.org" doesn't have a search bar.
I want to use firefox as my default browser.
Thanks, dee
Chosen solution
Key into your address bar about:home then click the arrow head or use the keyboard Return/Enter key

Hello,
I think you are talking about default home page:
Or:
Try go to about:config search for browser.startup.homepage change its value to:
about:home - default
Modified
Thank you Diego.
I am sorry--that I suspect, I'm missing the obvious, but I can't get a page to come up via FireFox. On my Mac, what I see is the Apple logo and then "Safari", rather than "Firefox", so I can't figure out how to get to the Firefox page as shown on the link that you sent.
I just "found" that page.
Do I have to load Firefox each time I start up my computer?
By default Firefox normally uses Google for searches, but you have many other choices.
Also note
- That the firefox searches all use the same search as that set in the search bar.
That includes the searches from the address bar, and even if you right click highlighted text in a webpage. - You can choose the search engine or install new ones
