My internet was very slow and was not in normal display mode. I wrongly opted to Restore Defaults and have lost My Contacts. Can I restore everything?

Do you mean you used the Reset Firefox option? If so, you'll find an old Firefox data folder on the desktop. See the last section of the following article for what you can recover from it and how.
