When I go to my Groupon I get "400 Bad Request" and cannot get through, but if I use my Internet Explorer it DOES go through. Help?
I use Groupon and recently tried to purchase one but when I hit "BUY" I got "400 Bad Request" error message. I did call Groupon, and they did the purchase for me. However, when I went on Internet Explorer which I rarely use as optonline does not work well with it, the purchase went through fine.
Why am I getting that error message with Forefox and what can I do about it?

- Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
- Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
- From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.

I did not update to version 24.0, but I did follow the other instructions and it solved the problem. THANK YOU.....much appreciated.
I know VERY little about computers and NOTHING about Firefox except that my server OnOpLine said it works better with them than Internet Explorer which I had been using. Why? Who knows?
Again, thanks.
Is this a routine "maintenance" I should do on my computer? If so, how often?
A bad request is usually caused by corrupted cookies.
This shouldn't happen under normal conditions, but an update of Firefox might cause such an error.
Also using external cleanup software can cause this issue, so best is to only use built-in Firefox means to remove cookies.
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
