Helpful Reply

Thank you for the timely reply. reinstalling java was the first thing i did and have done 4 or more times along with different browsers. I've tried disabling hardware acceleration and using safe mode. I have tried disabling different plugins. So far no fruit for my effort I will continue to work at this tomorrow. Hopefully somebody or possibly myself will find the answer.

Question owner

I am now running java in OOPP which stops Firefox from crashing but the java applet is still unable to load any java applets. I'm stumped and have no idea what to do from here.

Question owner

After uninstalling everything and reinstalling all programs involved and finding and deleting all files related to java on my hard drive i reinstalled java twice and on the second reinstall the applets began working.
