My space bar suddenly highlights rather than moving down the page

I did not change any settings [but I might have hit an f key, dunno], and all of a sudden instead of paging down hitting the space bar highlights stuff in green. It's really freaky, and I want my page down back.

YES!!! I turned it on and then off again and my space bar works right now. =D
