How can I remove http://en.v9.com from firefox

I can not remove http://en.v9.com from my browser starting page, I've tried all the possible option but failed. Please help.

Enter “about:config” in url bar. This will open settings page Type “Keyword.url” in the search box. Right click it & reset it. Type “browser.search.defaultengine” in the search box. Right click it & reset it. Type “browser.search.selectedengine” in the search box. Right click it & reset it. Search for ‘browser.newtab.url’. Right-click and reset. This will make sure that the search page won’t launch on each new tab. Make sure your FF shortcut is not hijacked. Most likely your browser got hijacked with Freemake Video downloader.

V9 is distributed with such programs. IF the problems return, scan with anti-malware programs as well.
