I need the "smtp server" name and "smtp port" for setting up email notification of an internet security camera.
Perhaps you can answer whether or not this question is within the realm of my Firefox browser, or is answerable by my email/internet service provider, Frontier.

smtp is used by e-mail services, so I can't imagine why you need this for an internet security camera.
You need an IP address for this camera if you want to access it via internet.
Is this camera posted elsewhere and do you need to access it remotely or can you access this camera directly via a network connection on your computer?
You will have to check the manual of that device about how to setup the connection or do a search on internet.
Thank you for your insight. The camera is already set up to access for viewing over the internet via its unique web address. An additional feature of the camera is an email notification of movement sensed by the camera. The camera software requires my smtp address in order to implement email notification.. SMTP is Greek to me, but I gather from your email and another response that this is something within my email provider. I'll make inquiry there. Thank you.
You can check your email parameters in the default email program on your computer. There you should be able to find the SMTP server as well. The port number should be standard (SMTP: port 25 or secure 587) as you can see in the Wikipedia article.
